The UC Bearcats has the week off but some big things happened concerning the teams the Bearcats still have to play. There was some crazy finishes this week for AAC teams. Fake victory formations and a Philly Special to name a few. Let’s check in on those teams and the ones they’ve already faced now.
UCLA. The Bruins (1-3) may have finally figured something out. They beat #19 Washington St (3-1) yesterday by a score of 67-63. Bruins fans, I promise you the basketball won’t see those kinds of numbers.
Ohio State. The #6 Buckeyes (4-0) absolutely punished Miami (OH) yesterday 76-5. Damn.
Miami (OH). The RedHawks fell to 1-3 but managed to score 5 points against the Buckeyes.
Marshall. (2-1) had the week off as well setting up a two well rested teams for next Saturday. Don’t forget about the watch party!
UCF. The Knights Watch is over. Central Florida lost to Pitt on a “Philly” special in he closing seconds of the game. The Knights are now 3-1.
Houston. Houston dropped a tough one to Tulane thanks to a fake play and a wild ending. The Cougars drop to 1-3.
Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane had a showdown with the Cowboys of Wyoming and came out on top in a close one 24-21. Tulsa is now 2-2.
ECU. The Pirates held their own this week against… William and Mary. The pirates won 19-7 to move to 2-2.
UConn. The Huskies dropped one to the Hoosiers and move to 1-2. Unfortunately for the University that one win isn’t going to bring them out of that $40 million hole.
Temple. I didn’t expect Buffalo to beat the Owls but that’s exactly what they did on Saturday to the tune of 38-22. Temple has to beat that team.
Memphis. Had the week off they take on Navy this Thursday.
Although the Bearcats don’t play them this season I thought it necessary to mention the SMU Mustangs. SMU took on #25 TCU and won to move to 4-0 on the season. This is arguably the biggest win of the season for the American.
