GoBeercats Watch Party pt 2: March First Edition

Posted on 11/11/201911/13/2019

The #17 UC Bearcats (7-1, 5-0) travel to Tampa to take on USF this Saturday. If you’re like most of us and can’t make it down to the sunshine state for the game March First is here for you. You’re officially invited to just the second ever GoBeercats Watch Party at March First Brewing.

If you’re thinking about coming out but on the fence about it, I hope to ease some of your concerns or maybe answer some questions you have after reading this. Here’s a preview of the event.

You can find the Facebook event page here.

First Thing’s First

March First Brewing is located at 7885 E Kemper Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45249. So Blue Ash, a very centrally located neighborhood and brewery.

The game kicks off at 7pm this Saturday. The watch party will take place in the old taproom of the brewery, pictured below and yes, the throwback C paw flag was already hanging in there.

The game will be on all of the televisions in the old taproom with the sound on!

It’s almost be like our own private viewing area!

Our command center Saturday night.
Throwback.

If you or someone you want to bring isn’t that into beer M1 has you covered. March First is Cincinnati’s only brewery, cidery, and distillery.

They have beers, seltzers, ciders, and their own distilled spirits. They offer plenty of food options too. Everything from pretzels, to sandwiches, to pizza.

If you are into delicious beers M1 has a wide variety offering 32 taps. Whatever style you prefer they’ll probably have. From hoppy IPAs to full dark stouts and everything in between.

To quote them directly:

We specialize in “drinkable” craft beer, cider, and spirits, and proudly brew, distill, and bottle in Cincinnati, Ohio. We admittedly do not follow popular trends or industry norms, and it is in precisely this that makes us delightfully unpredictable.

Our viewing room is just down that hallway.

The old taproom is located to the left of the new bar, past the merchandise shelves and bathroom pictured above.

The first watch party at the Casual Pint Mason went well and I said I’d try to organize another one if it did. Unfortunately, the Casual Pint Mason closed down. The folks at March First were more than willing to host the Bearcats faithful so lets make sure we show up and hangout with some fellow Bearcats fans.

You can find the Facebook event page here.

Still have questions? See any of the links below and reach out, I’ll try to answer any questions you might have.
